Goodwin Home Care provides personal care assistants and support both at and outside our campuses so you can live comfortably and safely in your own home. In Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church, our exceptional team of certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants and homemakers provide the care and support you need when you need it with the compassion that makes all the difference in the day. About Home Care
Understanding the
service
From support with activities of daily living to homemaking services to companionship and more, home care provides daily support to individuals in Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church. Whether you live on one of our campuses or in your own home, you can receive home care services to meet short-term or long-term care needs. To cover the costs of the care, you would either pay privately or through long-term care insurance reimbursement based on your plan.

Is Goodwin Home Care the right service for me?
Goodwin Home Care is a part of Goodwin Living Health, which offers multiple ways to meet your therapy and home care needs. We offer a range of services—from personal care assistance with daily tasks to companionship to escorting you to medical appointments—supported by our skilled and compassionate team of certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants and homemakers. The services can be for short-term or long-term needs, and do not require a doctor’s orders.
Looking for private duty personal care services and support?
24/7 personal care
We are committed to delivering exceptional service with our experienced home care staff. Individualized services are available seven days a week, up to 24 hours a day, with emergency on-call support as needed in Alexandria, Arlington and Falls Church. This is a private pay service, though in some cases it may be covered by long-term care insurance depending on your plan.

Looking for skilled nursing and therapy at home?
Skilled nursing
Our highly skilled nursing team—including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants—will create an individualized plan of care based on your doctor’s orders. Many of these services are covered by insurance, and our team is here to offer support exactly where you need it.
Therapy services
We offer in-home therapy visits for a range of needs, such as physical, occupational and speech-language therapy.
Looking for outpatient rehabilitation at our convenient Alexandria location?
Outpatient therapy services
We offer a range of therapy services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy, for older adults. Outpatient therapy services are available at our rehabilitation center at The View Alexandria in the west end of Alexandria.
